Shangri-La Art Gallery extends Jimmy Engineer art exhibition to February 18 after conferring of Honorary Citizen title by City of Houston.

Shangri-La Art Gallery has decided to extend the art exhibition by famous artist Jimmy Engineer after he was conferred as a Honorary Citizen and Goodwill Ambassador of City of Houston by Mayor Bill White..

Says Atul Vir, Principal of Shangri-La Art Gallery, “We are proud to host Jimmy Engineer’s work and have decided to extend the exhibition date in order to give Houstonians an opportunity to view this inspiring art and meet the artist.”

The current art show is of original limited edition canvas prints ranging in size from 2 feet to 10 feet. Jimmy Engineer will be personally signing each print certifying its authenticity. Prices range from $500 to $3,000.

There will be an artist reception on Wednesday February 18 from 6-8 pm. It is open to all.

Shangri-La is the first and only art gallery in Houston dedicated to Asian art. It also hosts a permanent art collection and promotes local artists.

The current exhibition has been going on since February 3 and will be extended to Wednesday February 18. The exhibition has been extremely popular with many of the artworks being already sold.
